Being a helper is a rewarding job, but sometimes it is difficult and stressful. People often feel purposeful by helping others.

Yet, it can be hard. You’re expected to have lots of knowledge about household chores.

Doing your work quickly and efficiently? It’s excellent for compliments and feeling good about yourself.

Here are 5 amazing and simple home hacks that will make your work easier and will surely save your precious time, strength, energy, and sanity:

1. Remove candle wax from the furniture with ice cubes.

If there’s a candle wax that sticks on furniture, don’t waste your time by scraping it off. It might leave a permanent scratch on the furniture.

Instead, place an ice cube in a plastic bag over the candle wax and wait for a few minutes. When the candle wax is already hardened, you can pick it up easily without ruining your furniture.

2. Remove small scratches on furniture with toothpaste

Leaving small scratches accidentally on your furniture is unavoidable. But before spending money to refurbish it, try using toothpaste first to get rid of those marks.

Use a small amount of non-gel paste, rub it on the scratch in a circular motion until it buffs out then clean the residue with a moist towel.

3. Use cooking oil to get rid of sticky label residue.

It is hard peeling off a label from a jar with your bare hands. It’s frustrating when the sticker stays partly on. Cooking oil can help to get rid of that label.

Use a cotton pad and some cooking oil then rub it on the sticky area. Wait for a few minutes. When the oil has already sunk in, you can wipe that label residue off easily.

4. Use a hairdryer to get crayon marks off the walls.

Most kid’s playful act is to use their crayons on the wall. Well, that’s fine. There’s a hack on removing it, a hairdryer!

Use a hairdryer to heat the part of the wall where the colours are visible, but only for a few seconds. It can help to soften the crayon’s wax and then wipe away the marks with a soft cloth.

5. Drill a hole in the bottom of your trash can to keep bags from sticking.

It’s frustrating when you try to remove a garbage bag from the bin, but it is still sticking on no matter how hard you try.

You should drill a small hole in the bottom of the trash can. It can release the vacuum-like seal that often makes the bag hard to remove.

I hope these simple hacks can help your household chores simpler and quicker. Try these at your home to prove its effectiveness. Sit back and relax with the time you’ll save after adopting these home hacks. Make your day productive yet stress-free.
