Hi, I'm Katherine!

Hello Sir/Madam,

My name is Katherine Alvarez, and I am 39 years old. I am from the Philippines and have been working in Hong Kong as a domestic helper for 14 years.

I spent six years with my first employer and have been with my current employer for 8 years, a term that will end on June 8, 2025. During my time with my first employer, I cared for a newborn baby. In my current role, I am looking after an eight-year-old child, having started with them as a newborn. My responsibilities include household chores, cooking, cleaning, childcare, managing school pick-ups and drop-offs, as well as doing laundry and grocery shopping.

In addition to my childcare experience, I have also worked in various roles, including as a cleaner in hotels, as a waitress and dishwasher in restaurants, and as a worker in factories.
