Help a Helper!

Description

We are looking for a part-time helper to assist with the care of our elderly Dad. He lives alone, with our long term full-time live-in helper, as well as having daily nurses that provide his medical care needs.

As his family live overseas, we would like to increase his care overnight. We are looking for a helper to stay all night but on a live-out basis. Proposed hours are 9 pm - 9 am, six days a week.

The primary duties of this role are to assist with mobility and personal care and light cleaning (e.g. laundry). Although there will be a need for occasional general household duties or shopping, these are mostly taken care of by our existing helper and nurses.

We will take as much time is necessary to find the right person, but are ready to appoint the right person ASAP.

If you're a compassionate, agreeable person who can come into a stable household with sensitivity and help care for our Dad, then we want to hear from you. Good English skills required and elderly care/nursing experience would be ideal.
